Christiana Dijkman, born The Hague, Netherlands, September 5, 1964; admitted to bar, 1992, Texas; also admitted to practice before U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas.

Christiana Dijkman is a Shareholder at the firm. Ms. Dijkman joined Phillips & Akers in January 1995, in its then Rio Grande Valley office, located in Brownsville. She presently manages the Firm's McAllen office, but splits her time between it and the Firm's Houston office. Prior to joining Phillips & Akers, she practiced with another law firm located in the Rio Grande Valley for approximately one year, and practiced in-house for a Railroad Company for one year. She is fluent in Dutch and German. She is also conversant in Spanish.
Ms. Dijkman has tried a variety of cases, both in the Rio Grande Valley, and in other portions of the state, including Harris County. Her general trial experience includes premises liability cases, automobile and truck accidents, wrongful death cases, DTPA claims, employment-related claims, products liability and business torts. She represents many of the local businesses in the Rio Grande Valley in their general commercial disputes.
